Experience in simulation and skills training while teaching EMT, ACLS, BLS, and PALS courses while in the military.
Experience in simulation during field training exercises.
2009-2012
Critical Care Instructor for Air Force C-STARS Program. Used simulation in all aspects of training to include simulation trauma scenarios, PHTLS scenarios, PHTLS scenarios, and BDLS scenarios.
Experience in using simulation in the field environment.
Experience in using simulation while on an airframe (e.g., HH-60, C-130, C-17).
Experience in debriefing techniques.
2012-2013
Simulation consultant with ICF International in a DoD contract providing simulation operations and consultation to several Air Force bases in the Midwest and Northeast.
2013-2021
Director of Operations at the Medical Education Simulation Center at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Managed all aspects of medical simulation for the medical school. This included curriculum design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This also include administrative duties and research administration.

Taught Instructor Training Courses.
Managed the center's Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesia (MOCA) program.
Managed a non-ACGME simulation fellowship program.
Spearheaded the design and implementation of UCI Health's first mobile simulation platform, and the first mobile simulation platform within the UC system.
Attained Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) certification.
Attained the Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist - Advanced (CHSOS-A) certification.
2021- present
Accreditation and Operations Manager for the University of California, Irvine Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing.
Spearheaded the buildout of the new Nursing Simulation Center and procurement of capital equipment and furniture.
Provide an operational and consultant role for the Nursing Simulation Center while directly managing the simulation staff.
